About The Position

Accenture is hiring a Supply Chain Manager/Senior Manager to support Supply Chain and Operations for cable and telecommunications clients in the Communications & Media sector. The role focuses on helping clients modernize supply chains, streamline field operations, and build resilient infrastructure operations. Work may span network infrastructure, mobile networks, and customer premises equipment (CPE), including procurement, provisioning, field workforce management, and vendor governance. The position leads supply chain planning and operations improvements, distribution and logistics optimization, digital transformation, cost reduction, and analytics-driven decision-making. It also involves client relationship development, technology evaluation and deployment, team leadership, and support for proposals and thought leadership. Travel may vary up to 75%.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or network operations within the cable and/or telecommunications industry, with expertise in one or more of network infrastructure (wireline/fiber), mobile (5G/LTE/fixed wireless), mobile retail, CPE supply chain, or field operations.
At least 2 years of consulting experience or equivalent leadership experience within the cable or telecom industry.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or at least 12 years of work experience. Applicants with an associate degree must have at least 6 years of work experience.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with cable- or telecom-specific platforms.
Six Sigma, APICS, or similar advanced certifications.
Experience leading digital supply chain transformation and automation initiatives in cable or telecom, focused on advanced planning or AI platforms.
Skills in data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
Ability to lead complex, multifunctional transformation programs and deliver measurable client outcomes.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of S&OP and S&OE processes across cable and telecom supply chains, including network construction logistics, RAN/mobile equipment procurement, CPE provisioning and reverse logistics, and materials management.
Advise clients on warehouse, distribution, and logistics optimization, including site consolidation, flow improvements, and carrier transformation.
Lead integration of digital platforms such as AI-driven demand forecasting, IoT-enabled asset tracking, and automated field dispatch.
Identify and execute supply chain cost-optimization opportunities across procurement, logistics, warehouse management, and field inventory.
Use analytics to model supply chain scenarios, track KPIs, and develop actionable client recommendations.
Build relationships with mid-to-senior client stakeholders and support senior leaders in maintaining Accenture's position as a trusted partner.
Support evaluation and deployment of digital tools and automation for telecom supply chain and field operations.
Lead small-to-mid-size project teams, mentor junior consultants, and ensure quality delivery across workstreams.
Contribute to RFP responses, proposal development, and thought leadership focused on cable and telecom supply chains.
