Supply Chain Manager / Materials Manager

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing, inventory control, production planning, logistics, and materials management operations within a manufacturing environment. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience within a supply chain, purchasing, or materials management function.
- 3-4+ years of buying or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems for purchasing, inventory, and materials planning.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and inventory management.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, purchasing, logistics, and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.

- Strong knowledge of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes.
- Experience identifying and implementing transportation and freight cost reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Oversee purchasing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage operations.
- Develop and manage production planning and scheduling activities based on sales forecasts and customer demand.
- Maintain inventory levels to support on-time customer deliveries.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the perpetual inventory system.
- Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure timely availability of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor and improve shipping and receiving processes for purchased components and finished goods.
- Identify and implement transportation and logistics cost savings opportunities.
- Manage the storage and movement of raw materials, purchased parts, and finished goods.
- Perform inventory write-offs and adjustments for obsolete or damaged materials.
- Lead year-end physical inventory processes and inventory valuation activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of purchasing professionals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Establish accountability measures and drive continuous improvement within the department.
- Handle employee relations matters in accordance with company policies and procedures.
