About The Position

This student program supports the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Transportation (FCAT) team. The program follows a format where participants work remotely during the academic year (September through April) and onsite during the summer (May through August). Remote work must be performed from a location within the United States. During the academic year, students who reside in the Metro Detroit area are highly encouraged to work onsite at the Detroit, Michigan FCAT Terminal, as their schedule permits. Students are expected to work 24 hours per week during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, with a consistent weekly schedule established with their manager to accommodate their class schedule. During the summer months, students are expected to work onsite at the Detroit, Michigan FCAT Terminal and may be required to relocate, working up to 40 hours per week. Relocation assistance may be available. Student program cohorts begin quarterly in January, April, June, and September, with students intended to remain in the program through graduation. The Stellantis Student Program offers a unique alternative to traditional summer internships by providing year-round work opportunities throughout a student's academic journey, allowing for continuous application of classroom learning in real-world settings. This fosters deeper integration within teams, empowers students to take on increasing responsibility, and provides valuable experience and meaningful contributions. Students are assigned to a department based on their background and skill set, with project-oriented assignments that are meaningful to the department. Students experience personal accomplishment and learn about corporate business culture through work assignments, structured activities, and networking events. The Supply Chain Management organization manages the flow of parts and materials, connects demand to production plans, and is responsible for parts and vehicle transportation networks. Students will gain industry experience, interface with all levels within the supply chain department, and apply coursework to drive results.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university at the time of hire.
• Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Able to work 24 hours per week, year-round.
• Willingness to relocate, if applicable.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Will not require immigration-related sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities
