About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to support our Integrated Aerospace Structures Fulfillment team located in Auburn, Washington on first shift. The Integrated Aerospace Structures (IAS) team is looking for new team members to join our Supply Chain Team! We are a reliable, agile, and safe aerospace supply chain team that delivers the right material and parts, at the right time. Powered by trusted collaboration and lasting supplier relationships. Together with our suppliers, we predict disruptions and keep programs moving.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
• 5+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data & presenting analysis / recommendations to management
• 1+ years of experience interpreting Bill of Materials

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5+ years of experience with CMES system (or equivalent non-conformance management system)
• 5+ years of experience in managing projects
• 5+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production manufacturing environment
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
• Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
• Analyzes complex material requirements
• Verifies and incorporates Bills of Materials/schedules into a production plan
• Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability and ensures on-time delivery
• Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
• Reports schedule adherence issues
• Optimizes inventory levels
• Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories.
• Initiates audits
• Develops and creates schedules for products and services
• Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
• Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
• Works under general direction
