About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join the Supply Chain Materials & Standards team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift. This role collaborates with supplier management support, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, and customers to support 787 Program Operations. The analyst will incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into the production plan, coordinate part number attributes, and verify released engineering BOMs in the material planning system. Responsibilities include releasing and maintaining orders, documenting and resolving order delinquencies, reporting schedule adherence issues, applying solutions to inventory plans, and analyzing/dispositioning excess and obsolete inventories. The role also involves initiating, coordinating, and authorizing order releases by evaluating system requirements and resource availability, ensuring on-time delivery, optimizing inventory levels, and creating schedules for products and services. Additionally, the analyst will coordinate and support process improvements, help develop and implement new ordering methodologies, and ensure organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements, and governmental regulations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain and/or materials management
  • 3+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data & presenting analysis / recommendations to management
  • 3+ years of experience in a position where priorities changed frequently & customer service was critical to the team’s success
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to work any shift based on business needs
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with ERPLN, Velocity, Order Manager and REDARS systems
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace related manufacturing operations or production support
  • Effective problem solving and time management skills
  • Independent, self-motivated, with ability to prioritize critical tasks
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
