Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join the Supply Chain Materials & Standards team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift. This role collaborates with supplier management support, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, and customers to support 787 Program Operations. The analyst will incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into the production plan, coordinate part number attributes, and verify released engineering BOMs are correctly implemented in the material planning system. Responsibilities include releasing and maintaining orders, documenting and resolving order delinquencies, and reporting schedule adherence issues. The role involves applying developed solutions to inventory plans, analyzing and dispositioning excess and obsolete inventories, and initiating, coordinating, and authorizing the release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability. Additionally, the analyst will ensure on-time delivery, optimize inventory levels, create schedules for products and services, coordinate and support process improvements, help develop and implement new ordering methodologies, and ensure organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements, and governmental regulations.
