About The Position

The Dollar Tree Summer Internship Program offers an enriching 10-week paid internship opportunity that takes place at our corporate headquarters in Chesapeake, Virginia. As a Supply Chain & Inventory Analytics Intern at Dollar Tree, you will gain practical experience and insights into the daily operations of our retail stores. Guided by experienced professionals, you will support various areas of our merchandising and inventory management teams, including our business analytics across teams. This internship aims to give you a comprehensive understanding and develop valuable skills for a successful career in retail.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment and build effective relationships.
Self-motivated and eager to learn about store operations and retail industry practices.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with retail store systems and technologies is a plus.
