As a Supply Chain Intern at United Launch Alliance, you'll gain hands-on experience and will have the opportunity to: Assist Senior Level Business professionals with the development of procurement specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment and services. Prepare Request for Quotes and Request for Proposal packages. Assist with conducting bidders conferences, analyzing and evaluating supplier proposals, negotiation of subcontract provision, select subcontract source, create subcontract documents and subcontracts. Intricate participation with subcontract compliance to ensure strict adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations; as well as, internal ULA command media. Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletion, or modifications to subcontracts as coordinated with other ULA functional areas and suppliers. Coordinate with engineering, quality, and finance as required to mitigate supplier performance risk and resolve supplier issues in a timely manner. Assist Senior Level Business professionals with timely resolution of issues that arise with Quality, Receive, Accounts Payable, Manufacturing, supplier or any other functional area as required. Support one or more experienced business professionals in performance of assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of the business side of the aerospace industry. Interns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which help them build a strong network within the ULA community and with fellow interns!
