O SI Optoelectronics has an internship opportunity for a college student pursuing a diploma/degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field to support the Supply Chain department. The selected candidate will have a solid academic background, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in college during the 2026 academic school year and be in good standing.
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint desired.
  • Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills are essential.
  • Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis related to vendors and commodities.
  • Review various data points.
  • Enter data for database cleanup.
  • Generate periodic summary reports.
  • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • Report any quality problems or defects to their manager or a member of senior management for corrective action.
