About The Position

The Supply Chain Intern will play a critical role in supporting the end-to-end supply chain operations within our organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze supply chain data, identify process improvements, and contribute to efficient product flow from suppliers to customers. By engaging in real-world projects, the intern will develop a comprehensive understanding of supply chain dynamics and how they impact overall business performance. Ultimately, this role aims to prepare the intern for a future career in supply chain management by providing practical skills and industry insights.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with supply chain software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Previous internship or project experience related to supply chain or logistics.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of transportation and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Support procurement activities by communicating with suppliers and tracking order statuses.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipments and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Prepare reports and presentations to summarize findings and recommendations for management.
