About The Position

As a Supply Chain Intern at iA, a leader in pharmacy automation, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals to support key supply chain functions—including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor coordination—helping us ensure the smooth delivery of automation equipment and critical components that support pharmacies across the healthcare industry. The iA Intern Program is a 10-week summer internship, running from, Tuesday June 1, 2027, through Friday, August 6, 2027.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Analytical thinker with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with basic supply chain principles and tools
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or work experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like MS SQL, Power BI or similar platforms.
  • Experience using AI tools like Claude to assist with analysis and automating repetitive processes.
  • Exposure to healthcare-related supply chains (e.g., pharmaceutical, medical device, or pharmacy operations), especially in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Review demand signals within ERP system to determine purchasing requirements.
  • Support the procurement team with supplier research, RFPs, quote analysis, and purchase order tracking.
  • Assist in coordinating day-to-day supply chain operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Demand Planning to support part tracking and order fulfillment.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and support cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Assist in supplier evaluations and compliance tracking, and help maintain documentation for internal audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Lead and/or participate in process improvement projects within the Procurement team.
