About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to learn within a successful manufacturing environment while building knowledge and practical skills across multiple aspects of manufacturing operations. Support commodity managers with supplier research, market benchmarking, and data validation. Assist in preparing RFQs, comparing supplier quotes, and summarizing sourcing recommendations. Help monitor supplier performance metrics such as quality, delivery, lead time, and responsiveness. Coordinate with procurement, engineering, operations, and finance to gather sourcing requirements. Support supplier communication for quotes, documentation, delivery updates, and issue resolution. Assist with risk management activities, including supplier capacity reviews and material availability tracking. Track purchase price variance, inflation impacts, and savings opportunities by commodity. Perform assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities that will include cross-functional experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least a sophomore pursuing a BS/BA degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Innovative, self‑motivated, and able to work independently when required.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
• This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
