We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern who is eager to learn, contribute, and gain real-world experience across multiple areas of supply chain. This internship is a great opportunity for a college student who wants hands-on exposure to sourcing, purchasing, inventory, quality, systems, and cross-functional business operations. Requirements

  • Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with AI operating systems/tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with periodic supervision from Supply Chain staff
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of related purchasing and/or inventory experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Supply Chain Manager with implementing, maintaining, and updating supplier product details within MJS’s internal sourcing system
  • Help update supplier contact information and communicate changes to MJS team members
  • Support the maintenance of internal contact lists and sourcing system records
  • Assist with system enhancements and database updates related to: supplier product assortments, sourcing quotations, commodity indexes, supplier price change notifications
  • Partner with the Quality Assurance Manager on projects and enhancements related to internal quality systems and databases
  • Support ad hoc reporting and special projects across areas such as inventory management, purchasing, sourcing, quality, and transportation
  • Work cross-functionally and gain broad exposure to how supply chain supports the business
