Swagelok offers a 12-week summer internship program designed to provide interns with valuable hands-on experience through meaningful projects, fostering both personal and professional development. During the summer, interns will combine classroom learning with applied work experience in Supply Chain. Interns will lead impactful projects focused on continuous improvement, enhancing quality, optimizing cost-saving measures, or advancing safety in processes and/or products. They will be challenged to apply and develop technical and interpersonal skills for long-term success, improve problem-solving abilities, and collaborate with other Swagelok associates. The program includes networking opportunities, business learning, engagement with associate resource groups, facility tours, professional development, and community volunteering. Interns will have direct engagement with executives and industry leaders, and opportunities for resume reviews and mock interviews to prepare for future roles at Swagelok. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will be exposed to various aspects of Swagelok’s supply chain functions, with potential support roles in: - Manufacturing/Assembly Planning: Introduction to Swagelok’s supply chain, products, and ERP system (SAP). - Sourcing: Direct interaction with Swagelok’s suppliers, purchasing raw materials and components for manufacturing. - Customer Service: Direct interaction with Swagelok’s network of Sales & Service Centers that serve customers globally. - Supply Chain Analyst: Roles focused on inventory management, logistics, forecast/safety stock, etc.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
  • Minimum of a sophomore year completion in a Bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, or Business Analytics or related field.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to work 10-12 weeks consecutively during the summer.
  • Open to working in Northeast Ohio locations: Solon, Strongsville, Eastlake, Highland Hills, or Willoughby without relocation support.
