About The Position

Trove Brands is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Analyst to own the analytics behind inventory and working capital, which are critical levers on the company's margin. This role reports directly to the VP of FP&A and offers significant scope for an individual with a background in supply chain or operations finance. The analyst will be responsible for building much of the necessary reporting and analytics infrastructure, primarily using Snowflake and Omni. This is a full-time position based in the Lehi, Utah office, emphasizing the need for daily proximity to Supply Chain and Operations teams. The role is expected to grow into leading a team as the analytics function expands.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years in supply chain finance, operations finance, inventory analytics, or FP&A.
  • Advanced Excel and modeling skills, with the ability to connect operational metrics to P&L outcomes.
  • SQL proficiency or the willingness to learn quickly.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Acumatica, or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively, pushing back when necessary due to high demand.
  • Comfort working without extensive scaffolding, leveraging training from larger companies.

Nice To Haves

  • CPG, e-commerce, or manufacturing background.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses and BI development (Snowflake, Omni, Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in import, freight, or logistics analytics, including landed cost, forwarder performance, freight invoice audit, and TMS data.
  • Exposure to S&OP or IBP processes.
  • Experience with 3PL/warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with retailer compliance and chargebacks.

Responsibilities

  • Own inventory position and control metrics, including inbound and in-transit through on-hand inventory, across SKU, location, and channel. This includes analyzing turns, weeks-of-supply, aging, excess & obsolete inventory, adjustment rates, and count accuracy, and translating these into dollars and Gross Margin Percentage.
  • Conduct inbound and import analytics, making sense of freight data from the container management system and RateLinx feed. Build current reporting gaps such as landed cost, freight spend, forwarder allocation, invoice validation, and transit-time performance.
  • Manage 3PL and distribution performance, owning the scorecard and MBR program end-to-end. Analyze cost-per-order, on-time/in-full delivery, shipping accuracy, and the storage-vs-fulfillment split, tying these back to cost-to-serve.
  • Analyze chargebacks and deductions, sizing the exposure, identifying root causes, and recommending fixes with the highest financial impact.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and automation in Snowflake and Omni for leadership reporting, warehouse and 3PL team scorecards, and to replace manual data pulls for scalability.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis, combining data from multiple sources to size impact and find causes for identified problems, working with requests from Inventory Control, Imports, Distribution, and HQ.
  • Provide inventory inputs for the annual plan, forecast, and close processes, including variance analysis, GL reconciliation, and E&O reserve support.
