Griffith Foods is hiring a Supply Chain Finance Analyst to be responsible for the financial management and oversight of the site level Supply Chain Finance. This role leads cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting, to ensure accurate, insightful, and actionable financial information to drive operational decisions. Reporting to the Unit Finance Director and a dotted line to the Regional Finance Supply Chain Manager, this is your opportunity to advise on cost efficiency, support strategic planning, and partner closely with the local Supply Chain team, FP&A, and the Accounting team to deliver financial discipline and continuous improvement across the plant. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing finance roles.
  • Experienced in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), with strong data extraction and validation skills.
  • Skilled in standard costing, variance analysis, and performance management to drive operational and financial efficiency.
  • Skilled in business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Proven ability to analyze product, customer, and channel profitability to support strategic decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, IFERROR, and data cleaning/analysis).
  • Strong understanding of system data integrity, ensuring accuracy and reliability before reporting.
  • Deep understanding of FP&A, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance principles.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data, detect trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, capable of translating complex financial data into business insights.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Scarborough 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Own daily and monthly cost tracking, variance analysis, and performance reporting for manufacturing and supply chain activities (Departmental & MFG Expense, LOI, Inventory Reconciliation, Labour Productivity).
  • Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve operational efficiencies, and influence cost drivers in partnership with operations teams.
  • Support CapEx management, standard cost updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with corporate and regional requirements.
  • Maintain KPI dashboards to monitor operational and financial performance, providing insights for better decision-making.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for GPE reporting, ensuring accuracy of reported savings and providing recommendations based on financial insight.
  • Support internal control processes specific to manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Lead semi-annual physical inventory counts to ensure compliance, accuracy, and reconciliation with system records.
  • Ensure inventories are properly valued and standards are accurately set and maintained across manufacturing sites.
  • Improve and maintain standard costing processes, establishing and updating standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Provide recommendations for inventory control to minimize losses and optimize working capital.
  • Lead site-level annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for headcount, expenses, inventory, and LOI.
  • Partner with plant management, regional Finance, and Operations teams to deliver insightful financial analysis that supports strategic decisions and drives cost efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, H&S, and Process Improvement teams to strengthen cost control and performance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, development, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply chain functions.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
