About The Position

Ballad is seeking a dynamic and energetic Facilitator to join their team full-time. The Facilitator will be responsible for delivering Ballad’s Fundamentals of Supply Chain Logistics program, designed to equip participants with the skills for successful careers in the Supply Chain industry in Red Deer. This role involves monitoring participant performance, identifying learning challenges, and encouraging attendee participation. The primary duty is delivering CITT’s Transportation Systems and Logistics Processes micro-credential courses, which contribute to CITT’s CCLP designation. While course content is provided, facilitators are encouraged to offer input to ensure curriculum relevance. A secondary duty includes delivering job preparation and employment readiness workshops. The Facilitator will also select appropriate methods and tools for participant success and collaborate with the Program Team to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Facilitation experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and prioritization skills.

Nice To Haves

  • ASCM / APICS / CITT membership.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), and Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Ballad’s Fundamentals of Supply Chain Logistics program.
  • Monitor participants' performance to identify potential learning-related challenges.
  • Deliver CITT’s Transportation Systems and Logistics Processes micro credential courses.
  • Provide input to ensure curriculum relevance to the Supply Chain Industry.
  • Deliver job preparation and employment readiness workshops.
  • Select appropriate methods and tools for participants to achieve results.
  • Work with the Program Team to resolve conflict.
  • Develop/modify workshops and programming to meet the needs of program participants based upon the Supply Chain curriculum and deliverables.
  • Assess individual needs of potential participants.
  • Develop, select and revise course material and curriculum on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with Program Coordinator and Employment Specialist to ensure consistency on participant progress and program outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain professional contacts in the Supply Chain Industry that may provide enriching experiences and/or work placement opportunities.
  • Liaise with various internal & external clients & stakeholders.
  • Active service management of participants to ensure success.
  • General administration including: participant progress reports, responding to participant inquiries, preparation of materials etc.
  • Other duties that may arise from time to time and as may be assigned.
