Supply Chain Engineer

MicronBoise, ID

About The Position

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Develop and automate methodologies to analyze and resolve supply shortages through data mining and planning system insights. Optimize silicon supply plans using industrial engineering tools to ensure inventory distribution across all designs based on Micron strategy. Review and influence demand signals to improve supply fill rates and address shortages. Implement and maintain Fab Device ID (DID) prioritization logic to guide demand and safety stock fulfillment across fabs. Support modeling of trade-off scenarios between Fab constraints to enable flexible capacity planning and minimize trade ratio losses. Integrate Fab stability logic into planning systems and validate related dashboards and KPIs (e.g., Tableau) for performance monitoring. Analyze demand, supply, and shipment trends using statistical tools to identify risks and opportunities to the business revenue plan. Evaluate key demand signals including customer backlogs and forecasts using rule-based and statistical demand analytics engines. Synthesize large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams. Evaluate inventory mix to identify slow-moving, orphaned, overstocked, or quality-hold inventories and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution strategies.
