About The Position
This is an internship opportunity at Vital Lyfe, a company focused on solving global water challenges through innovative desalination and water treatment solutions. The intern will join a passionate, multidisciplinary team and gain hands-on experience working on impactful projects. The mission is to find passionate and driven interns to contribute to the company's goals.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering.
- Experience or coursework in relevant subjects (e.g., manufacturing, GD&T, CAD, mechanical/materials design, Six Sigma).
- A passion for solving real-world problems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, comfortable interfacing directly with vendors.
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Torrance, CA.
Responsibilities
- Support the qualification of new vendors, from initial search through onboarding, to expand our capable supplier base.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective action follow ups when vendor quality issues arise.
- Build efficient systems and tools to manage and control vendor performance over time.
