About The Position

The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for the complete supply chain performance across the client's distribution network. This includes inventory controls, demand and supply planning, supplier/vendor management, and logistics. The role involves owning in-stock rates, turns, inventory value, shrinkage, and stocking strategies while driving on-time delivery (OTD), quality, and purchase price variance (PPV) performance, and creating new vendor relationships. This is a direct hire, fully remote position, but candidates must reside in the Chicago, IL area.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree required.
8+ years of experience with Supply Chain, inventory management, and/or demand/supply planning leadership.
Experience operating with a multi-location distribution or warehouse network.
Experience across an international supply base.
Track record of leading a formal SIOP/S&OP process.
Experience applying LEAN/Six Sigma methods (kaizen, DMAIC) in a continuous improvement environment.
Experience leading demand planning and supply planning.
