About The Position

Conagra Brands, a leading branded food company, is seeking motivated college graduates for its Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP). This accelerated training program is designed to enhance Supply Chain skill sets by providing exposure to various Supply Chain facets and experienced leaders within a diverse Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization at both corporate and plant levels. The program is structured to last 36 months, allowing for consistent growth and individual development opportunities. Participants will rotate through three different Supply Chain functions, with rotations varying based on business needs and career aspirations. Potential rotations include Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in programs related to Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Food Science or Agriculture or a related program of study no later than June 2025.
  • Desire to be a leader and grow within the Supply Chain function.
  • Ability to relocate during the program.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Own reliability improvement for an assigned production line using reliability tools.
  • Develop operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control.
  • Verify the accuracy of operating equipment efficiency data and work with leads to address gaps.
  • Own results and loss reduction for assigned production line.
  • Manage production staff to attain production and quality goals.
  • Communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Finance, EHS and RQI).
  • Interact with equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, and co-manufacturing organizations.
  • Develop Front-End-Loading (FEL) packages for projects of various sizes.
  • Manage small projects independently.
  • Participate and execute experiments in plant trials.
  • Develop subject matter expertise of packaging principals and operating systems for assigned areas.
  • Own workstreams that support plant goals related to quality and food safety.
  • Track progress and lead related project work.
  • Complete industry-recognized certifications (ConAgra Certified Sanitarian, PCQI, and HACCP).
  • Identify and resolve quality/food safety problems on the production line.
  • Own assigned compliance activities such as record review, product testing, and leading quality/food safety training.
