About The Position

This position is a core supply chain function supporting the business in master production planning, demand planning and inventory management activities. This will be a key role in the monthly/yearly production planning process. This person shall be responsible for ensuring production meets the demand needs. The role will also help with demand planning and be able to assist with forecasting for various customers. In turn he/she should be able to calculate inventory levels based off of the demand plan. Also to propose solutions and required analysis to ensure proper production & stocking levels to increase supply chain productivity and efficiency. The person in this position shall have supply chain planning, manufacturing and inventory management experience. This position is required to perform a variety of tasks. A very wide degree of analytical capability and judgements are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or equivalent.
• Requires 3-5+ years of experience in Master Production Planning
• Inventory / Supply Chain Management, Inventory Planning & Replenishing, Demand planning / forecasting
• Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel is a must.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software application is necessary.
• Experience with data collection and analysis tools.
• In-depth knowledge of mathematical and logical reasoning.
• Possess strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent relationship builders with good interpersonal skills.
• Develop recommendations to improve the supply chain process.

Nice To Haves

• APICS or other Supply Chain certification preferred.
• Oracle eBusiness Suite (ERP) preferred.
• Tire manufacturing experience a plus
• Bilingual Chinese a plus

Responsibilities

• Master production planning.
• Demand planning and Forecasting
• Be able to communicate plans with cross-functional operations and planning. Adapt plans based on changing customer demand and ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with internal teams to ensure performance goals for Quality, Turn Around Time (LT each routing) and Throughput are met demand required.
• Continuous improvement and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for supply planning processes and systems.
• Support the preparation of monthly S&OP meeting with USA and Headquarters.
• Be involved in yearly budget to analyze demand by SKU for production plants according to Sales forecast, production assessment, investment, product development and inventory projection.
• Develop key performance indicators to measure and manage supply compliance.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
