Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, business / data analytics, or a technical discipline (or non-technical degree combined with 3-5 years of experience in supply management analytics)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of analytics and dashboard design
  • Experience with Alteryx, Fabric, and PowerBI to produce repeatable, automated data analysis and visualizations

Responsibilities

  • Act as trusted liaison between business leaders and data engineering to gather understanding of business processes and relay desired metric inputs and desired calculations for data source development.
  • Develop advanced metrics, reports, analysis, and visualization dashboards that provide critical insights into global supply management performance while ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
  • Create and advance reporting capabilities via data visualization in Power BI to support decision-making by key stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end development and technical delivery of complex custom analytic projects. Utilize tools such as Alteryx, Fabric, SQL, SAP and other data sources to create repeatable analytics and semantic models that feed into PowerBI dashboards.
  • Perform sophisticated ad hoc analyses using data from various systems and effectively communicate the results to all levels of management, providing actionable insights.
  • Audit and evaluate existing data workflows, understand as-is processes and best practices. Develop/prepare recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements/optimizations, prepare future state / best practice process flows.
  • Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve processes, increase data integrity, and provide quality customer service to internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with report stakeholders to ensure strong understanding of the methodology behind all calculations.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed in support of Lincoln Electric’s strategic plan.
