About The Position

The Supply Chain Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting supply chain, procurement, inventory, and operational data to support better decision-making across the organization. This role will develop reports, dashboards, and insights that improve supplier performance, purchasing efficiency, inventory accuracy, cost control, forecasting, and overall supply chain visibility. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large data sets, ERP systems, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Finance, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations analytics, inventory analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, and data modeling.
  • Experience with ERP, procurement, inventory, or warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or other data visualization and analytics tools.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or industrial supply environments.
  • Familiarity with procurement, inventory control, supplier management, and demand planning processes.
  • Knowledge of KPIs such as inventory turns, on-time delivery, purchase price variance, supplier performance, lead time, fill rate, and working capital.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze purchasing, inventory, supplier, logistics, and demand data to identify trends, risks, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for supply chain leadership and operational teams.
  • Track supplier performance, including pricing, lead times, delivery performance, quality, and contract compliance.
  • Support demand planning, inventory optimization, and material availability reporting.
  • Partner with procurement, operations, finance, warehouse, and project teams to improve data accuracy and reporting processes.
  • Monitor spend data and identify opportunities for cost reduction, standardization, and improved purchasing behavior.
  • Validate, clean, and organize supply chain data from ERP, procurement, inventory, and vendor systems.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership, including executive summaries and actionable recommendations.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis related to materials, suppliers, and inventory.
  • Support system improvements, process automation, and data governance initiatives.
  • Identify root causes of supply chain issues and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of company, supplier, and financial data.
