Requirements

Associate's degree in a related field/program
One year of prior relevant experience is preferred
Microsoft Office (especially Excel) proficiency
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail

Responsibilities

Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies
Reviews supplier purchase order confirmations for accuracy, and product selection, and mitigate any discrepancies in a timely matter
Prepare requests for quotations to meet technical specifications and competitive pricing necessary for decision-making
Demonstrates a basic level of product knowledge and application
Monitors the timeliness of materials and goods supplied; follow-up on the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery; expedites material as needed and communicates status of orders with internal customers
Process administrative and price updates for system applications to maintain pricing and data for estimation and purchasing purposes
Utilize business intelligence dashboards and reports to prioritize and drive down key department metrics
Publish reports and metrics as required for the Supply Chain department
Identify and execute opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvements, and process efficiencies
Process invoice discrepancies through workflow and document product returns and credits in a timely manner
