Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 1 (one) year of experience in Medical Supply Chain, Procurement, and issue of supplies in a perpetual inventory environment.
- 2 years of work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze financial and budgetary reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Negotiation/conflict resolutions skills.
- Understanding of product standardization and cost savings concepts.

Responsibilities
- Maintains the perpetual inventory using the guidelines established by the organization.
- Coordinates supply flow between vendors and internal supply chain.
- Expedites backorders and locates appropriate substitutes when necessary. Communicates inventory issues to clinical staff and management.
- Creates daily supply requisitions and purchase orders based on requirements. Verifies order confirmations and pricing on a daily basis. Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage. Stocks supplies to appropriate locations.
- Works with vendors and internal stakeholders to correct pricing discrepancies.
- Maintains operating room areas in accordance with sterile/clean guidelines and procedures. Cleans and organizes all supply bins on a routine basis.
- Follows all safety guidelines and demonstrates proper body mechanics in all functions. Operates assigned equipment in a safe manner as instructed.
