The Supply Chain Control Tower Engineer runs supplier control towers that keep manufacturing facilities running and customers satisfied. Working closely with buyers, suppliers, LPAs, and a team of Control Tower leads, this role coordinates supplier performance, maintains coverage files, and builds the tracking tools that give the business clear visibility into supply status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years of professional experience OR Master's degree with 0–2 years of experience will also be considered OR Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros and complex formulas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Conflict resolution skills
Nice To Haves
- Background as an LPA, Supplier Development Engineer (SDE), or Buyer
- Power BI experience
Responsibilities
- Lead control tower meetings with LPAs and suppliers
- Create and maintain coverage files, working alongside an experienced coverage file expert
- Develop tracking tools to monitor and report supplier performance
- Occasional visits to local supplier sites, where PPE may be required
