This role is within the WoodMac Supply Chain Consulting team, which has ambitious growth goals for the next four to five years. The team has a strong pipeline and aims to expand with individuals capable of supporting and driving client engagements, contributing to revenue goals. The ideal candidates will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with an ambition to lead projects and manage client relationships in the future.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree with a focus in engineering, science, supply chain, or business.

  • Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Coops/Internships in a Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering function.
  • Experience within the Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execution and delivery on client projects.
  • Developing and delivering insights from industry data and experience.
  • Delivering innovative thinking supported by market research and subject matter expertise.
  • Leveraging software tools to help energy clients make effective supply chain and capital project execution decisions.
  • Working closely with project leads to meet project schedules.
  • Onboarding new Consultants joining the team.
  • Providing deep analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to support strategic procurement and capital project decisions.
  • Performing market research on supply and demand factors.
  • Supporting bidding processes for large capital project contracts and strategic supply chain initiatives, including pricing analysis, bidder correspondence, negotiation design, and contract implementation.
  • Using WoodMac Energy Intelligence Platform software tools for spend analysis, cost modeling, escalation forecasting, eSourcing bid events, and other consulting solutions.
  • Training clients on the use and value of WoodMac tools.
  • Coordinating and communicating with client supply chain stakeholders on strategy design and implementation.
  • Contributing to the broader Supply Chain Consulting team's goals and facilitating successful project execution.
