About The Position

This is a Supply Chain Co-op position offering several co-op term options to accommodate various academic schedules. All positions are fully on site in Fitchburg, WI. The co-op will provide hands-on experience in supply chain management, process improvement, and tactical purchasing functions. The role involves assisting with project work, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting new technology implementation, working with buyers and planners, conducting data analysis, participating in team meetings, and maintaining procurement records.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a 4-year bachelor's program with good academic standing and be able to work on site in Fitchburg, WI.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project work focused on improving the performance of current supply chain material planning systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancing business process efficiencies.
• Support the development and implementation of new technology tools to optimize supply planning and purchasing operations.
• Work closely with buyers and planners to assist in tactical functions including order management.
• Conduct data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for supply chain improvements.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions to drive continuous improvement.
• Help maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance metrics.
