About The Position

This role is a co-op position focused on supply chain projects, process improvement, and automation. The co-op will work on tasks such as commodity code standardization, supplier analysis, STAM updates, developing feedback surveys, and reviewing processes for lean opportunities. Additionally, the role involves exploring AI, PowerBI, and Power Automation for solutions, developing work instructions and training tools, assisting with data analysis for supplier development, and training on Microsoft Automation suite and Copilot AI. The co-op will also support Commodity Managers and other team members with various tasks.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Problem-Solving mindset - lead with curiosity and logic
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with professionals in a wide variety of roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have a collaborative approach in team settings as well as the ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field if supply chain coursework has been taken or a supply chain certification has been earned
  • Class standing of sophomore or above
  • Project Management experience

Responsibilities

  • Project – a business process improvement and/or automation
  • Commodity Code Standardization and Update
  • Managed v Unmanaged Supplier Analysis
  • STAM (Supplier Tooling) Updates
  • Develop Survey for site feedback for Supplier Business Reviews
  • Review Process for Lean/Improvement Opportunities
  • Explore – AI, PowerBI and Power Automation for solutions to everyday tasks
  • Develop – work instructions and training tools to aid with CM/SPE/SPPM onboarding
  • Assist – data analysis for supplier development and tensioning opportunities
  • Train – on Microsoft Automation suite, Copilot AI and other tools as required
  • Support – Commodity Managers and other team members with tasks as needed
