Supply Chain Clerk II
About The Position
The Supply Chain Clerk II inputs daily item orders, performs stock checks, and handles customer pickups as needed. The role ensures inventory is counted, rotated, and replenished daily in accordance with procedures; stocks and inventories products in assigned areas; manages par levels; and checks for compromised or expired products. The position receives inbound materials, labels them with identifying information, records quantities, sorts and stocks materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences, and arranges materials for order assembly. It also involves quality control, moving carts to and from loading docks, operating material-handling equipment as needed, responding to customer requests with a high level of customer service, and performing onsite housekeeping and cleanup duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a hospital environment.
- Ability to read and communicate in English.
- Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
- High sense of urgency.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Responsibilities
- Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks and customer pickups as needed.
- Ensure inventory is counted, rotated, and replenished daily and that procedures are followed.
- Stock and inventory products on carts or in assigned areas and manage par levels.
- Check products for damage or compromise and check inventory for expired items.
- Receive inbound materials, mark them with identifying information, record quantities received, sort them, and stock them on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences.
- Arrange materials for order assembly.
- Perform quality control, move carts to and from loading docks, and operate material-handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with customer requests while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including onsite cleanup.
