Supply Chain Buyer - Full Time Temporary Contract

Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, and managing suppliers.
- Professional approach to vendor and customer relationship management.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional written/verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- University or Technical school degree in commerce, supply chain, or other relevant discipline preferred.
- Product knowledge of categories such as industrial MRO, construction, electrical, and lubricants is an asset.
- Proficiency with ERP, Business Central or Dynamics 365 preferred.
- Project management knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Purchasing goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Bid evaluation and preparation of quotes for the customers.
- Assist with researching and evaluating opportunities to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance, and work towards a continuous improvement strategy.
- Support in negotiating improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings by following best procurement practices, tools, and methods.
- Assist with evaluating suppliers and managing performance improvement activities.
- Additional duties as assigned.
