About The Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector is seeking a Principle Supply Chain Business Operations/Compliance Specialist Level 3 or 4 to join the GSC Compliance Team. This position may be located in Melbourne, Fla, San Diego, Ca, or Clearfield, Utah. The role involves supporting processes and activities within supply chain operations and compliance, including regulatory compliance, systems and technology, data analytics, international supply chain, operational excellence, and supply base diversity. The specialist will manage, develop, and support strategic direction and tactical execution of governance, priorities, and initiatives. This position requires support within an In-house Classified area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience or a PHD with 1 years of experience (Level 3) OR Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience or a PHD with 4 years of experience (Level 4).
  • Experience must be related to Procurement, Subcontracts, Peer Review of Packages and/or Audits, Organization Effectiveness, and/or other related industry experience.
  • Prior experience in audit (internal or external) reviews.
  • Experience with procurement / subcontracts.
  • Knowledge of terms and conditions, and program contract flow-downs (FAR/DFAR regulations).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret level (or above) clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
  • Experience in Global Supply Chain roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Prior experience working with suppliers/subcontracts for both US Government and non-US Government programs as a Buyer or SCA.
  • An Active Current U.S Government Secret level Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PACE audits.
  • Provide compliance support to the procurement organization.
  • Review procedures for accuracy and clarification.
  • Support the training team with compliance guidance.
  • Support annual customer audits.
  • Interface with Supply Chain Management processes and personnel at all levels.
  • Audit procurement packages.
  • Support sector customer audits.
  • Provide compliance support in training classes.
  • Mentor procurement employees in compliance.
  • Remain up to date in FAR/DFAR regulations, Terms and Conditions, and Program addenda clauses.
  • Develop in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs.
  • Prepare personnel for positions of increasing responsibility.
  • Increase personnel effectiveness in present assignments.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders including Contracts, Engineering, Quality, Strategic Sourcing, Planning, Operations, and Program Management.
  • Hands-on management of suppliers/subcontracts for both US Government and non-US Government programs.
