About The Position

This Supply Chain Business Manager (SBM) position is an individual contributor that plays a vital role in managing suppliers in the RF commodity, with a core responsibility to ensure finished goods are delivered per plan. The SBM will work with suppliers to manage and improve their processes, drive operational excellence in supply chain operations, and participate in continuous improvement programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business, with a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of working experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or a production environment, preferably in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment.
  • Creative thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Extensive experience interfacing with customers and suppliers and managing these relationships, with knowledge of supply chain management business processes.
  • Experience with Program Management; demonstrates attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills, with solid analytical and written/oral communication skills and the ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization.
  • Project Management / Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • Ability to add value, reduce costs, and make business improvements.
  • SAP experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor material flow through the production cycle to determine procurement needs.
  • Define and track supplier performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to deploy best-known methods in procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing strategies.
  • Partner with Production Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supplier Quality Engineering to resolve supply challenges.
  • Monitor product cost with suppliers to prevent negative PPV and support cost reduction efforts.
  • Drive improvements in supplier manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and OTD.
  • Manage key performance indicators.
