About The Position

Position Summary: This position is primarily responsible for assisting day-to-day operations of Supply Chain department which includes receiving, transporting materials from both facilities in Allendale, NJ, shipping, inventory transactions related to LNF materials and performing inventory cycle counts. The Supply Chain Associate I will participate in the coordination of and distribution of operations materials through a kitting process from work orders created and inventory control activities. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Maintain clean and safe work environment in accordance with Minaris’ 6S Program Provide strong customer service to internal and external customers Maintains safe and clean work environment in accordance with Minaris’ 6S Program. Example include, but not limited to, keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Comply and observe with all cGMP practices and regulations and safety guidelines. Reports any unsafe working conditions to the Supply Chain Management and Minaris’ EHS team Additional responsibilities and objectives will be added as needed based on business and area needs Shipping and Receiving Responsible for arranging shipping and receiving schedules and schedules collections with qualified carriers as per client’s instructions Verifies items and quantities received matches the purchase order Verifies quantity and quality of receipts Receive, accessions and processes GMP materials as specified and checks for damaged goods Unpacks, examines, and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged materials Assist in the commercial invoicing/international shipments which is a required document for export and import clearance process. Materials Management Responsible for creating work orders/Issuing materials to WO in ERP System Stocks supplies and internal gowning areas as needed Assist in the reconciliation & management of Inventory of quarantine and release raw material as per Minaris’ SOPs Participate in cycle counts and assist in reconciliation of variances Pick kitting components for operations through work orders created from bill of materials Material Storage Responsible for temperature sensitive shipment handling, hazardous material labeling and handling Assist in the inventory of liquid nitrogen freezers and tracking inventory transactions in NetSuite ERP system as needed Assist in the scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance of LNF freezers and Liquid nitrogen dewars Retrieve samples from freezers and transfer to end-users Assist in the timely removal of obsolete LNF inventory Competencies Strong collaborative and ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrixed environment Ability to multi-task is essential Flexible and able to adapt to company growth and evolving responsibilities Strong attention to detail Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding terminology of the job Ability to problem-solve Supervisory Responsibility This job has no supervisory responsibilities Qualifications: High School diploma/GED Prior experience in a materials management role and cGMP manufacturing environment preferred. Working knowledge of desktop computers and Microsoft Office applications Relevant IT skills (ERP, Excel, Word) Must have a valid driver’s license Quality Requirements: Build Quality into all aspects of your work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. Ensure compliance to all FDA and global Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function). Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval. Minimum Required Training: Training will be provided as per job responsibility and business needs. GDP Training, Standard Operating Procedures – (SOP’s) on our learning platform. Working Environment: Must have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment and with clients Must be able to work during the weekend, holidays and as required by the company Must utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling all human specimens, gases, corrosive chemicals, and liquid nitrogen Must be able to handle the standard/moderate noise of the manufacturing facility May work with hazardous materials and chemicals The work environment requires gowning, hair net, safety glasses, gloves, and foot coverings. This role operates within a professional office environment of a manufacturing operations plant. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Seating is mixed and includes open space seating, cubicle, and office space. The employee may occasionally be exposed to infectious diseases transmittable through human blood, tissues, or bodily fluids and are expected to utilize universal precautions with all human specimens. Other exposures may include gases (nitrogen), or corrosive chemicals (Clorox, potassium hydroxide), or exposure to liquid nitrogen. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of the job successfully. The employee is frequently required to lift, move, or carry a minimum 50 pounds and occasionally move tanks up to 300 pounds (with assistance). Heavy cryo-gloves must be used when working with liquid nitrogen Gowning proficiency as needed. Must be capable of moving, sitting, stretching, stooping, reaching with hands and arms, and have sufficient vision to read materials. Must be capable of using hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as copy machine, printer, and calculator. Must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in person, and on the telephone.
