The Supply Chain Associate will execute tasks supporting the supply chain department and in collaboration with project and business team members. These activities include review and preparation of administrative tasks associated with reviewing of vendor proposal documents, updating files of vendor master agreement file records, web pages, communications, execute administrative tasks related to asset management, conducting basic business analysis and prepare simple reporting . Associates will also coordinate vendor engagement events and collaborate across business divisions to plan vendor related engagements. They will follow established sourcing standards department operational practices. This position will be mentored and work supervised by more senior members of Supply Chain Management Department.

Requirements

  • Preference for Bachelors degree in supply chain management or financial related education.
  • 0-3 years of business related experience.
  • Preference for education or hands on experience in supply chain management, asset management or related field.
  • Solid background in business management, financial management, supply chain management, vendor management, or asset management.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain management, sourcing, contract management, and inventory management software in addition to MS Office products, PDF software, and generic accounting systems
  • Regular work days and hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30AM - 4:30PM.
  • This position will commute locally to an office or project site with occasional regional travel.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders, and walk on uneven ground.

Responsibilities
