Supply Chain Assistant Manager

Jacques Marie Mage, IncLos Angeles, CA
$90,000 - $100,000Remote

About The Position

The Supply Chain Assistant Manager keeps Jacques Marie Mage’s collections on schedule, working with our factory partners in Japan, France, and Italy and our fulfillment centers in Los Angeles, Amsterdam, and Fukui. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will own purchase orders, item data, and inbound coordination — roughly 1,500 new SKUs a year move through this role. It is a strong fit for a highly detail-oriented person who works well from clear direction and takes pride in seeing things through.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and 3–5 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related analytical field.
  • Advanced competency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and working with large data sets.
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP system; NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Airtable or comparable database and workflow tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and comfort with high-volume, repetitive data entry — item data, quantities, and dates need to stay accurate through long sessions in the system.
  • Takes direction well and follows through to completion, providing status updates without being asked.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable following up across departments and time zones to resolve issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Business-level Japanese is a plus, given daily communication with our factory partners and warehouse team in Japan.
  • Experience in luxury goods, fashion, or another high-SKU-count product environment is a plus.
  • Google Workspace and Dropbox experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain purchase orders in NetSuite, from issuance through receipt and closeout.
  • Create and maintain item data — SKUs, serial numbers, and color codes — in NetSuite and Airtable.
  • Maintain delivery and production schedules, updating the master PO tracker daily as factories confirm.
  • Process the weekly inbound shipment from Japan: item receipts, transfer orders, and the summary to global operations.
  • Coordinate inter-warehouse transfers across our three regions and resolve quantity and documentation discrepancies.
  • Analyze warehouse inventory and create the ERP transactions needed to keep stock records reconciled.
  • Own vendor coordination for assigned categories: leather goods, jewelry, and precious materials.
  • Track packaging launch readiness with the Packaging Specialist, escalating risks early.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders and receipts for Accounts Payable.
  • Maintain allocation records in Airtable and confirm allocations with our factory agents.
  • Prepare recurring reporting, including the weekly Japan operations deck.
  • Log quality and system issues raised by QC, after-sales, and warehouse teams, and follow through to resolution.

Benefits

  • Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision plans with up to 100% employer contribution and FSA options.
  • Retirement Plan: 401(k) with 4% company match after 90 days.
  • Life & Disability Insurance: Company-paid life insurance plus optional long-term disability coverage.
  • Eyewear Perks: Access to exclusive seasonal product allowances and discounts.
  • Employee Assistance Program: 24/7 confidential support services.
  • Extra Perks: Pet, auto, and home insurance, commuter benefits, identity theft protection.
  • Time Off: Major holidays, birthday off, vacation, sick time, and winter break.
