About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, shipping, logistics, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of parts, assemblies, raw materials, and finished goods. This position requires strong expertise in supply chain management, domestic and international shipping, and collaboration with third-party vendors and component manufacturers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and practices.
Experience working with third-party contract manufacturers and component suppliers.
Ability to build models for demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with ERP systems and demand forecasting tools, with Epicor P21 preferred.
Certification in supply chain management or logistics, such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full supply chain process to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company goals.
Manage and prioritize daily procurement activities across multiple commodities.
Act as an electronics parts buyer, sourcing and purchasing components to support production requirements.
Manage domestic and international shipping operations while ensuring compliance with regulations, tariff codes, and delivery requirements.
Coordinate the movement of parts, assemblies, raw materials, and finished goods to support production schedules and customer demand.
Create, place, and manage purchase orders aligned with MRP and production demand.
Source and onboard new vendors, including qualification, certifications, and onboarding documentation.
Collaborate with third-party contract manufacturing vendors and component manufacturers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.
Negotiate pricing and contracts to achieve cost savings while minimizing risk.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and contract requirements.
Work closely with internal departments, including engineering, finance, accounting, operations, warehouse, and customer service, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
Partner with internal teams as a trusted advisor on supply chain and procurement matters.
Coordinate with operations and production teams to ensure schedules align with demand forecasts and customer requirements.
Ensure the timely delivery of parts, assemblies, raw materials, and finished goods to meet production schedules and demand forecasts.
Analyze inventory and support the reduction of excess and obsolete materials.
Monitor and control supply chain costs to ensure operations remain within budget.
Lead resolution efforts for pricing, delivery, and quality issues, escalating when necessary.
Conduct supplier business reviews and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery.
Identify supply chain bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, to increase throughput.
Maintain data integrity within ERP systems and use data to report on metrics such as on-time delivery and purchase price variance.
