Requirements
- Experience in supply chain network optimization and inventory theory
- Proven ability to develop large-scale analytical models (optimization, simulation, queueing)
- Hands-on experience in distribution center design and material flow optimization
- Experience delivering supply chain transformation projects across relevant industries
- Exposure to warehouse automation and robotics solutions (e.g., Dematic, Witron, Vanderlande, Ocado)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field
- Expertise with supply chain modeling tools (e.g., Llamasoft or equivalent)
- Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Leadership experience including mentoring or coaching team members
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement large-scale supply chain network optimization models (stochastic, multi-period, capacity-constrained)
- Design and optimize end-to-end distribution networks across multiple industries (retail, T&L, G&PS, industrial products)
- Build multi-echelon inventory and queueing models to support strategic decision-making
- Leverage tools such as Llamasoft and custom-built solutions for supply chain decision analysis
- Lead distribution center (DC) and micro-fulfillment center design, including in-facility flow modeling
- Develop business cases to support automation and robotics investments in warehouse operations
- Provide advisory on automation vendors (e.g., Dematic, Witron, Vanderlande, Ocado) and solution implementation
- Build custom network flow models to support greenfield and brownfield distribution network decisions
- Drive business development, including client relationship management, solutioning, and proposal creation
- Lead project delivery, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with stakeholders on turnkey DC design solutions
