This role involves developing automated reporting workflows and interactive dashboards using SQL, SSRS, Excel Power Query, and Visual Studio to streamline data extraction and reduce manual reporting time. The analyst will examine sales and inventory data to identify demand patterns, risks, and bottlenecks, providing data-supported recommendations to internal U.S. teams. Responsibilities include maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly reporting packages, converting business questions into data queries, and creating ad hoc analytical reports. The position requires monitoring customer order patterns and sales trends using ERP systems and SQL dashboards, supporting forecasting and inventory planning with various models and calculations, and validating/cleansing large datasets from ERP systems. The analyst will also assist in process improvement initiatives, collaborate with internal U.S. teams (Sales, Operations, Finance), and develop demand and supply planning models for US-China supply flows. Additionally, the role involves designing automated cross-border reporting systems, analyzing delivery performance of China-based suppliers, communicating US demand priorities to China teams, supporting cross-time-zone coordination, converting US demand into supply instructions for China suppliers, resolving data discrepancies with China suppliers, leading supply readiness planning for new products, identifying supply risks, and guiding China-based teams on interpreting reports and planning logic. Communication in Mandarin Chinese is essential for many of these tasks.
