About The Position

As a full-time Supply Chain Analyst, you will serve as a strategic link between the Supply Chain Department and the rest of the company, affecting how Fastenal manages product flow domestically and internationally. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding and training are complete and performance goals are met. The position is based at 4730 N Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987, and the listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Fastenal is a distributor of industrial and construction supplies that has grown from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with more than 3,000 servicing locations. The base pay range is $38,000–$50,000. The position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have prior administrative, customer service, or clerical experience, or industry experience and product knowledge.
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills.
• Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Pass the required drug screen, applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam only.

• Possess or be working toward a degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related Business field.

Responsibilities

• Manage forecasts and inventory plans.
• Collaborate with product development, operations, and sales on product supply and placement.
• Review and analyze regional sales trends to determine stocking locations.
• Analyze data and communicate the results clearly.
• Analyze large data sets and derive meaningful summaries.
