To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst located in Columbia, SC. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst will be in charge of customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts. Hold up material manager or director to develop, implement GPSC reports, data research trends to facilitate resolutions making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years in finance, sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, electronic components markets, pricing trends, and technologies.
  • Background in electronics manufacturing with understanding of OEM product lifecycle.
  • Experience driving sourcing, pricing, and cost reduction strategies (e.g., PPV, material cost optimization).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, track financial performance, and support decision-making.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management, Customers and Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
  • Presents materials value-add to customers or suppliers, and influence customers to use Flex preferred suppliers by managing component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis.
  • Interfaces with customers or suppliers in new project start-up, for cost of ownership issues.
  • Developed and guide implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
  • Defines and implements pricing and costing strategies by developing, implementing cost take down strategies, increase Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), reduced Lead-Time (LT) and Electronic Data Interface (EDI) penetration.
  • Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
