About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the supply chain team with financial analysis, including compiling, organizing, reporting, and measuring data/statistics. Ensures accurate and timely preparation and presentation of reports and data. Provides appropriate reports and financial analysis to the leadership team and supports additional supply chain activities when necessary, in addition to the primary analytical functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Finance or Healthcare with 2 years of experience in healthcare, supply chain management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to translate data into a workable format and present to others.
  • Advanced knowledge of excel applications and functions.

Nice To Haves

  • No experience required with a Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the supply chain team with financial analysis, reporting and measuring of data/statistics.
  • Utilizes Excel skills to develop analytical reporting metrics of supply chain implementation support, tracking and performance.
  • Reports supply chain data analysis to key stakeholders for decisional tools.
  • Interprets data and provides recommendations to the supply chain team.
  • Assists with development and execution of project plans and manage processes to timely completion of goals.
  • Develops and prepares dashboards based on data to monitor and track compliance with various initiatives.
  • Tracks supply chain initiatives and provides savings/opportunity analysis.
  • Collaborates with sourcing team to develop conversion files.
  • Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain including utilization issues, budget variance and contract compliance through in-depth analysis.
  • Works with supply chain team to correct financial variances, monitors and reports out on improvements.
  • Demonstrates commitment to personal development by pursuing outside learning opportunities and certification.
  • Supports data operations and MMIS analytics as needed.
  • Attends and summarizes business reviews and needed.
  • Manages special projects as delegated.
