About The Position

Nomad Global Communications Solutions is seeking a Level III Supply Chain Analyst. This position plays a critical role in ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, and disciplined execution of ERP transactions across manufacturing. The Supply Chain Analyst is a multi-level role (Levels 1–4) responsible for driving data-driven execution and continuous improvement across materials planning, sourcing and purchasing, inventory management, and warehouse operations. At all levels, the role partners cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Materials Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Project Management, and Manufacturing to identify issues, analyze data, and implement solutions that improve operational performance and support business objectives. The position progresses from foundational operational support and reporting (Level 1) to independent analysis and process ownership (Level 2), then to cross-functional leadership and system optimization (Level 3), and ultimately to enterprise-level strategy, governance, and performance framework development (Level 4). Throughout all levels, the Supply Chain Analyst is expected to: Leverage Excel, Power BI and ERP systems to transform data into actionable insights, Improve and standardize end-to-end supply chain processes, Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions as control mechanisms, Support audit readiness through documentation, traceability, and transaction discipline, Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain analytics, materials/inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support roles.
  • Demonstrated advanced Excel skills and strong ERP process proficiency.
  • Proven experience writing and implementing SOPs/work instructions and leading measurable process improvement.
  • US Citizen for consideration and meet all Federal Contractor employee requirements.
  • Nomad GCS does not support the H1B Visa for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep working knowledge of materials planning support, purchasing enablement, inventory control, and warehouse execution in manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of ERP end-to-end workflows and transaction governance.
  • Advanced Excel capability (large datasets, repeatable dashboards, error-proofing, complex analysis tools).
  • Strong process documentation expertise with demonstrated ability to write, implement, and sustain standard work.
  • Strong facilitation and cross-functional influence skills; able to drive adoption without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis and resolution of significant inventory variances, material shortages, and recurring execution failures; drive cross-functional corrective actions.
  • Own and improve inventory control processes (cycle count strategy, reconciliation methodology, adjustment governance, transaction compliance routines).
  • Support materials planning with advanced exception analysis, shortage driver identification, and improvements to planning-related master/transaction data.
  • Support sourcing/purchasing by analyzing supplier and PO performance trends (lead time variability, receiving issues, chronic past-due patterns) and recommending process fixes.
  • Improve warehouse execution by mapping end-to-end workflows (receiving through issuance) and eliminating error points, rework loops, and non-value-added steps.
  • Design and maintain advanced dashboards and KPI suites for leadership; provide structured insights and recommended actions.
  • Strengthen audit readiness through control-oriented processes, evidence expectations, and disciplined documentation and transaction integrity.
  • Develop, standardize, and govern SOPs/work instructions; ensure implementation through training, compliance checks, and updates tied to performance results.
  • Mentor junior analysts through technical guidance and review of analysis and documentation quality (no direct people leadership required).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
