About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst I role is responsible for the execution, continuous improvement, and problem-solving of supply chain processes to achieve business results. This role requires understanding downstream customer requirements to meet expectations and drives change by applying fundamental theories, principles, and concepts of supply chain and lean manufacturing. The analyst will optimize plans and schedules in a lean environment, including coordinating services and materials to match production demands. They will analyze and communicate value stream and/or supply chain capacity and constraints, take ownership in performing root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions across the supply chain using tools such as ERP, Kanban, spike tools, and 5Y. Collaboration with internal and external partners, including suppliers, supervisors, team leads, logistics/warehouse groups, and material planners, is essential. The role represents supply chain in projects within the value stream (plan, source, make, or deliver) and provides coaching and mentoring to supply chain planners. Receives minimal guidance from others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, equivalent experience.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain technologies (ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems).
  • Advanced skills and experience with Microsoft Suite, ERP and Reporting systems.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools such as pull systems, PDCA thinking, value stream mapping, process mapping, and Kanban systems.
  • Effectively collaborate and works well with others.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, in detail, and consistently attend to meeting customer requirements.
  • Seeks opportunities to learn from others who have more experience and tenure in the organization.
  • Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Represent supply chain in projects within the value stream (plan, source, make, or deliver).
  • Provide coaching and mentoring of supply chain planners.
