About The Position

Supply Chain Analyst - Foreign Trade Zone & Inventory Management Position Summary Typical working hours will be Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM. This position is 100% on-site in Winchester, Kentucky. Catalent’s Winchester location is the flagship US manufacturing location for large scale oral dose forms, with integrated analytical and development services. The Supply Chain Analyst - Foreign Trade Zone & Inventory Management will be responsible for the organization of activities related to Trade Compliance and Inventory Management. The Supply Chain Analyst will ensure compliant management of the Foreign Trade Zone at Winchester and manage inventory to minimize obsolescence, process waste and rejections in a timely and compliant manner and help ensure physical to digital accuracy of all materials. The Role Monitors and manages all FTZ (Inbound and outbound) within the Winchester facility. Administer the day-to-day FTZ operations of admissions and shipments. Retrieves all shipping documentation pertaining to foreign receipts. Analyzes and prepares weekly estimated entry. Maintains and retains FTZ records as required by law, including weekly electronic backup of all FTZ files; validation of all Customs documentation. Assures accurate weekly Customs entry. Participates in conducting internal audits of Zone operations; and leads FTZ/Customs audits. Archives Zone admissions and weekly entry files in FTZ software. Conduct regular analysis of inventory to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Facilitate cycle count of materials , provide inventory reports to internal and external customers as required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university required.
  • 3+ years of hands on experience in managing export/import consignments preferable in pharmaceutical business.
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory transactions and ledgers in ERP systems and related reconciliations.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift to 15 pounds; no lifting greater than 44.09 pounds without assistance. Be accessible to manufacturing floor and office staff and to use required office equipment. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and frequent use of computer monitor
