About The Position

As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will assist a team of procurement professionals by managing a portfolio of subcontract agreements and direct procurement requirements. You will balance multiple priorities to help our clients address both their current and emerging needs effectively. These objectives will be accomplished through close collaboration with internal teams, efficient facilitation of information flow across the supply chain, and the development of strong relationships with suppliers. You will ensure that sourcing requirements are met promptly and to the highest standards while negotiating favorable terms to guarantee the timely delivery of quality materials and services. Additionally, you will work directly with leaders throughout the organization to address any issues that may arise during the contracting lifecycle, ensuring that procurement activities remain cost-effective and fully compliant with our approved business systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, supply chain, subcontracts, purchasing, logistics, or operations
  • 3+ years of experience in federal procurement or subcontract management, including overseeing proposals, supplier selection and negotiations, and subcontract administration to support U.S. government programs
  • Experience working directly with suppliers and their sub-tiers with product delivery
  • Experience with contract management software and tools, and procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems and e-procurement platforms
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to function independently as a self-starter
  • Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of procurements
  • Ability to manage work efficiently
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Support procurement strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Meet performance expectations and objectives ensuring alignment with the market account managers’ overall business strategies.
  • Collaborate with program managers, capture teams, and senior leaders to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with demand planners and suppliers to manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Utilize inventory control systems and practices to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of production inventory.
  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Provide expert advice and counsel to program leadership on subcontract or direct procurement matters, including advising on contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflicts of interest, and risk management and mitigation.
  • Interface directly with internal departments to address any issues that may arise during the capture, proposal development, contract negotiations, sourcing, and execution phases.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Work with a group of administrators to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Work with Supply Chain Managers to help identify and support opportunities to provide guidance, advice, support, and knowledge to less experienced administrators and technical staff.
  • Analyze your portfolio to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work with market and supply chain leadership to incorporate data analytics and forecasting tools and techniques to anticipate customer demands, navigate through industry disruptors, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage a portfolio of procurement requirements and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns proactively to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to market account managers on procurement performance, including spend analysis, supplier performance metrics, and market trends.
  • Utilize insights from data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement in procurement practices.
