About The Position

The Supply Chain Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate arrival, cost, and quantity information of inventory and provides administrative support to Novo’s Procurement team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • One to three years’ experience in purchasing or related administrative functions
  • Functional knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
  • Capability to communicate efficiently with all levels of employees, management, customers, and vendors both verbally and in written form.
  • Capacity to multi-task with speed and accuracy while prioritizing tasks and ability to maintain excellent organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in business management or a comparable field is preferred.
  • Working knowledgeable of Pivot Tables and Macros.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the process required to manage and maintain accurate inventory information, including participating in the intercompany transfer process, the entry of work orders, purchase orders and scheduling.
  • Identifies discrepancies or potential problems with acknowledgments, packing lists, shipments or invoices and resolves any questionable charges or discrepancies.
  • Works with receiving departments, buyers, and vendors to resolve quality and discrepancies issues.
  • Checks acknowledgements forms, packing lists and invoices and works with appropriate buyers and vendors to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitors and closes open purchase orders with back-orders that will not be received.
  • Ensures the purchase to pay process by entry and the maintenance of purchase orders through vendor payments are complete.
  • Provides for miscellaneous administrative requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
