Job Purpose and Impact The Supply and Inventory Planner II will manage supply and inventory planning for third-party logistics and transload locations. In this role, you will develop replenishment plans, monitor inventory and supply risks, coordinate stock movements and support reliable product availability and customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning, logistics or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of experience with at least one in supply and inventory planning
  • Experience planning inventory across 3PL, warehouse or transload locations.
  • Experience in SAP ERP environments.
  • Experience with rail, bulk or multi-location distribution networks.
  • Experience using data and reporting tools to identify inventory risks and support planning decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in using AI and automation to improve planning, reporting and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supply and inventory plans for assigned 3PL and transload locations.
  • Monitor demand, inventory, open orders, inbound supply and stock transfers to identify risks and required actions.
  • Create and adjust replenishment and stock transfer plans using MRP signals, inventory targets and site constraints.
  • Maintain planning parameters and master data, including safety stock, lot sizes, lead times, maximum stock and sourcing settings.
  • Coordinate shipment readiness, inventory movements and required documentation with 3PL partners and internal teams.
  • Develop recovery plans for inventory shortages, shipment delays, discrepancies and operational constraints.
  • Support setup and transition of new 3PL and transload locations, including planning parameters, processes and system readiness.
  • Independently resolve moderately complex planning issues and escalate significant risks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
