About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supplier Rate Readiness Specialist to join their Supply Chain Functional Excellence team in Everett, Washington. This role requires knowledge of advanced supply chain principles, focusing on supplier performance and readiness to support production rate increases. Responsibilities include data analysis, engagement with Procurement Agents and leadership, and proactive risk mitigation planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with suppliers or supplier management
• 8+ years of experience within the supply chain or procurement field
• 5+ years managing rate readiness plans in the Supply Chain Readiness System (SCRS)
• Able and willing to travel up to 15% domestically
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams
• 2+ years within fabrication/manufacturing, quality, and/or industrial engineering
• Experience in a role with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Applies best practices and standard work to support Operations Procurement Agents managing rate readiness plans in the Supply Chain Readiness System (SCRS)
• Analyzes supply chain readiness data for production system risk
• Provides peer review of supplier readiness plans
• Reduces supplier performance risk to current and future production rates
• Provides strategies to align with program needs and supply base capabilities
• Partners with Business Operations and Enterprise Supply Chain Readiness to drive functional excellence for rate assessment and mitigation processes
• Defines and improves standard work
